Ever wondered what a firefighter does?
This is your chance to see what we do and a look into an exciting career.
We will be covering 6 crucial skills we perform which include:1. SCBA Orientation2. Nozzle Mechanics3. Forcible Entry4. Ladder Operations5. Extrication6. Vent-Enter-Search
Class start time is 0900 on May 14th, 2022.
We will be opening this up to 60 students.
There is no cost and lunch is on site.We will provide all of the gear and equipment needed.Training will be instructed by members of local fire departments.

We will cover the fundamental use of an SCBA, maintenance on them, donning/doffing, and confidence.
We will work with the students to understand nozzle mechanics and allow them to flow handlines of different sizes.
We will allow students to work on forcible entry with hand tools as well as cover door construction.
Students will get the opportunity to work with ground ladders as well as setting up the main aerial device.
Students will have vehicles on the grounds that they can cut and spread using hydraulic tools.
Students will work with instructors to perform a Vent-Enter-Search using our props, tools, and instruction.
